Operations Director – Business Efficiency & AI Full Time NEW

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Director to lead business efficiency and AI integration across a large, diversified holding. The group operates multiple companies across several sectors, and this role sits at the center of how those businesses run, improve, and scale.

This is a senior leadership position for someone who understands large-scale, multi-entity operations and knows how to use technology and AI to make organizations faster, leaner, and more profitable. You will be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, turning ideas into measurable results.

Key responsibilities:

Operations leadership

• Oversee and improve operations across multiple companies and sectors within the group.
• Standardize and streamline core business processes to increase consistency, speed, and quality.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks, and lead the work to fix them.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting that give leadership clear visibility across all entities.

Business efficiency

• Design and lead efficiency initiatives that reduce cost, save time, and raise productivity.
• Build scalable systems and ways of working that support the group’s growth.
• Ensure every initiative delivers clear, measurable return on investment (ROI).

AI and technology integration

• Lead the practical integration of AI and emerging technologies into day-to-day operations.
• Identify high-value opportunities where AI and automation can replace manual, repetitive, or low-value work.
• Work with leadership teams to implement tools and workflows that genuinely improve performance, not technology for its own sake.

Leadership and stakeholder management

• Partners with senior leaders and entity heads to align operations with overall business strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams across functions and companies.
• Communicate progress, results, and recommendations clearly to executive leadership.

What we’re looking for

Experience

• Minimum 7 years in senior management or operations leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing large-scale operations across different firms and/or sectors.
• Track record of delivering measurable efficiency gains and operational improvements.
• Startup-savvy professional with expertise in building and running efficient business operations.

Technical knowledge

• Strong, hands-on understanding of how AI and technology can be applied to real business operations.
• Comfortable evaluating, selecting, and implementing operational and AI tools.

Skills and competencies

• Deep understanding of business and work-process design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field -Master’s / MBA preferred.
• Certifications or qualifications in AI, technology, or digital transformation are a strong advantage.

What success looks like

• Within the first year, the Operations Director will have mapped and improved core processes across the group’s entities, launched high-impact efficiency or AI initiatives with documented ROI, and established a clear, group-wide system for measuring operational performance.
