Role Description The Strategic Initiatives Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The role focuses on identifying, planning, and driving key strategic projects that support growth in low voltage panel manufacturing and industrial automation solutions. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends and competitive positioning, assessing new business opportunities, and developing data-driven business cases for strategic investments or partnerships. The manager will coordinate cross-functional initiatives with operations, sales, engineering, and finance, ensuring clear scopes, timelines, and measurable outcomes. Responsibilities also include monitoring performance metrics, preparing concise reports and presentations for senior leadership, and recommending improvements to processes, organizational structure, and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategy, business development, or management consulting, ideally within manufacturing, industrial automation, or electrical engineering sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with financial modeling, market analysis, and building business cases.
• Effective project management skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and commercial topics into clear recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with low voltage systems, industrial automation, or related technical fields is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional regional language skills are a plus.
