In coordination with the Project Manager, conduct regular outreach with municipalities, local authorities, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to identify emerging needs and priorities.
Plan and supervise the implementation of project activities related to kit distribution (NFI,CRI,FOOD, WASH, SHELTER), voucher and cash distribution, as well as cash for work activities, according to the set objectives and AVSI standards.
Ensure the objectives for the activities under his/her responsibility are achieved and deadlines are met.
Regularly visit activity sites, collective shelters, municipalities, and targeted population communities.
Identify and anticipate risks and constraints related to project implementation and propose alternative strategies to the Project Manager.
In collaboration with the Project Manager and field teams, adapt beneficiary selection methodologies and targeting criteria as necessary.
Prepare purchase requests, timesheet elaboration, allowances payment using AVSI financial and operational tools and follow up on orders in collaboration with the logistics department.
Support the Project Manager in assessing human, logistical, and financial resources required for project implementation.
Ensure the safety and security of beneficiaries, staff, volunteers, and equipment during field activities.
Contribute to the updating of operational, financial, logistical, and indicator tracking tools.
Facilitate coordination with municipalities, local government representatives, Social Development Centers, shelter focal points, and other local stakeholders to support project implementation.
Prepare planning schedules for the team under his/her supervision.
Organize regular meetings with field assistants and volunteers.
Prepare weekly attendance sheets, movement plans, and weekly and monthly implementation plans of field assistants and volunteers.
In collaboration with the Project Manager and the MEAL team, adapt monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies as necessary.
Support emergency response operations, including rapid assessments, beneficiary registration and verification, distributions, and post-distribution monitoring activities.
Conduct regular field visits to ensure the proper implementation of activities, identify gaps, and follow up on actions with field teams.
Ensure proper archiving of all project documents, tools, and training materials.
Monitor beneficiary feedback and community concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up and referral mechanisms are activated when required.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all field activities to the Project Manager using the required formats, databases, and platforms.
Prepare administrative documentation for authorities, partners, and beneficiaries, and contribute to donor reporting, annexes, and MEAL updates.
Essential Requirements
Experience in coordinating field teams and supervising community-based interventions.
Experience supporting emergency response activities, including beneficiary registration, needs assessments, distributions, and community outreach.
Demonstrated experience working with displaced populations, vulnerable communities, municipalities, local authorities, and community structures.
Experience in stakeholder coordination and representation at field level.
Familiarity with MEAL processes, including data collection tools, beneficiary verification, and monitoring activities.
Experience in procurement requests and coordination with logistics departments.
Strong understanding of humanitarian principles, protection mainstreaming, accountability to affected populations, and safeguarding standards.
Experience working in emergency and rapidly evolving operational contexts is highly desirable.
