Fashion Illustrator Full Time NEW

ZUHAIR MURAD is currently seeking a highly motivated Fashion Illustrator who combines traditional hand-drawing and painting techniques with digital media to produce visually captivating illustrations.

The duties will be but not limited to:

• Research fashion trends relevant to client orders for design inspiration.
• Have a strong understanding of human anatomy, proportions, color theory, and other artistic concepts which require to work quicky and efficiently while maintaining high level of quality.
• Sketch drawings that capture the essence of clothing designs manually or digitally using CAD software.
• Design custom dresses, accessories and footwear for clients.
• Draw embroidery samples upon request including selecting colors and materials for embroidery and beads mixing.
• Edit designs of dresses based on amendments requested by Couture sales department.
• Create references for each custom-made item.
• Work on embroidery placements for Haute Couture garments and accessories.
• Work on collections embroidery artworks if needed. 
• Other tasks as assigned by the Creative Director / Head of Studio.

Qualifications

• Technical or bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Fashion Design.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Creative and innovative, with a strong flair for design and visual storytelling.
• Excellent sense of color, patterns, and composition, with strong visualization skills.
• Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion technologies.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
