Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tax Auditor role based in Beirut Governorate, Lebanon. The Tax Auditor will review and analyze financial records, tax returns, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities include planning and conducting tax audits, identifying potential tax risks, and preparing detailed audit reports with clear findings and recommendations. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to gather necessary information, clarify tax positions, and resolve discrepancies. The Tax Auditor will also monitor changes in tax legislation, support the implementation of compliant tax practices, and contribute to process improvements within the tax and accounting function.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Tax, Tax Law, and Tax Compliance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations.
• Hands-on experience conducting Tax Audits and reviewing financial documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Excellent Analytical Skills, including the ability to identify discrepancies, assess risks, and draw data-driven conclusions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CTA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, and strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.
• Ability to work on-site in Beirut Governorate, manage multiple audits simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines with integrity and discretion.
• 3-4 years of experience in an audit firm is a must
