Role Description The IT and Data Analyst role at Marketopia is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria. This role is responsible for managing and analyzing data from various systems to support marketing performance reporting, operational decisions, and strategic planning. Day-to-day tasks include collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data; building dashboards and regular reports; and identifying trends or anomalies that can inform business and marketing improvements. The IT and Data Analyst will provide technical support for internal tools, troubleshoot system and data issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and system reliability. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements, optimize workflows, and recommend technology and process enhancements that improve efficiency and insight generation.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Foundational knowledge of Information Technology, including familiarity with data systems, databases, and business applications.
• Experience providing Technical Support for software, hardware, or data platforms in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting technical and data-related issues, with a systematic and solution-focused approach.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and document processes clearly.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is highly beneficial.
• Working knowledge of SQL, spreadsheets, or basic programming/scripting for data analysis is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines on-site in Alexandria.
