Production Manager – Al Mulla Industries Full Time NEW

Objective:

Responsible for overall production planning, manufacturing operations, manpower utilization, quality compliance, and timely delivery of refrigerated bodies, cargo bodies, panel vans, and related products while ensuring productivity improvement, cost control, Lean implementation, and adherence to safety and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control daily production activities for Reefer Bodies, Cargo Bodies, Panel Vans, and Ice Cream Boxes, etc.
• Ensure production targets are achieved in line with delivery schedules and customer commitments.
• Manage end-to-end manufacturing process including PU panel assembly, insulation, fitting, to finishing activities.
• Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and workflow to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Stores, and Materials to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and reduce rework and scrap.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Control production costs, monitor material usage, and support continuous cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop and train production team members to improve skill levels and performance.
• Prepare production reports, KPIs, and management updates on output, efficiency, and delays.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Recommended Experience:

• Years of Experience: 15 – 20 Years
• Field of Experience: Production Operations and Manufacturing experience in Refrigerated Bodies, Reefer Trucks, Insulated Panel Manufacturing, Cargo Bodies, Panel Vans.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong experience in refrigerated body building or similar insulated panel-based manufacturing industry.
• Good understanding of PU sandwich panel fabrication, assembly techniques, and finishing processes.
• Strong leadership and manpower management skills in a fabrication/shop floor environment.
• Ability to plan, organize, and control multi-product production lines.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under production pressure.
• Good understanding of quality systems, ISO standards, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in production planning concepts, workflow optimization, and resource balancing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and workforce levels.
• Ability to drive productivity, cost control, and delivery performance consistently.
