As an Agri Underwriter, you’ll determine the acceptability, conditions and pricing of insurance risks while delivering quality underwriting service for our business partners. This is a permanent full-time role based in either Ballarat or Naarm (Melbourne).
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with brokers to underwrite insurance risks in line with product guidelines and influence partner advocacy at all available customer touchpoints
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Assessment of risks
- Assisting brokers with underwriting queries by phone and email
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as an Underwriter is highly regarded, or alternatively just general insurance experience
- Demonstrable technical knowledge and skills from your previous role/s
- Have a customer focus with good verbal and written communication skills
- Certificate IV in General Insurance is beneficial but not essential
