Job Title: Data Analytics – SG Erbil

About the Job:
The Data Analyst is responsible for modeling and transforming data into actionable insights that support business process improvement and strategic decision-making. The role involves analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends and patterns, ensuring data integrity, and preparing meaningful reports to support operational and business goals.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
• Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary data sources.
• Filter and review data reports and performance indicators to identify and correct coding issues or inconsistencies.
• Correct corrupted data and resolve data-related problems to maintain data accuracy.
• Prepare analytical reports highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions based on relevant business data.
• Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in complex datasets for forecasting and decision-making purposes.
• Work closely with programmers, engineers, and management teams to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system enhancements.
• Support the development and implementation of data governance strategies.
• Conduct regular data audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and maintain proper documentation for reports, processes, and completed analytical work.
• Communicate analytical findings and insights effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Kurdish, English, and Arabic is required.
• Microsoft Power BI knowledge is required
• Very good knowledge of SQL databases
• Strong analytical, statistical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
• Experience in data modeling and reporting
