Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai for IB and IGCSE faculty across all major subjects (such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and related disciplines). The faculty member will plan and deliver subject-specific lessons aligned with IB and/or IGCSE curricula, ensuring conceptual clarity and exam readiness for students. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching in classroom or small-group settings, assigning and evaluating classwork and homework, and conducting periodic tests and exam practice sessions. The role also involves tracking student progress, providing individualized academic support, and sharing feedback with learners and guardians as appropriate. Faculty members will participate in academic meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and maintain an engaging, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in at least one IB or IGCSE subject (e.g., Mathematics, Sciences, English, Economics, or related disciplines).
• Demonstrated experience teaching IB and/or IGCSE curricula, with familiarity in exam patterns, assessment criteria, and syllabus requirements.
• Excellent classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate students, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with academic teams.
• Relevant academic qualifications, typically a bachelor’s degree or higher in the subject area or in Education; a teaching certification or IB/IGCSE training is an advantage.
• Comfort with using educational tools and basic technology for teaching, assessments, and academic reporting.
• Prior experience with coaching for competitive exams or high-stakes school examinations is beneficial.
• Ability to work part time on-site in Dubai, with flexibility for evening or weekend classes as needed.
