Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Specification Manager role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Specification Manager will promote Aurea’s engineered stone surfaces to architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers, securing product specifications in commercial and residential projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with key stakeholders, presenting technical and design solutions, preparing and updating project specifications, and tracking projects from design phase to installation. The role involves collaborating with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure that product data, samples, and documentation are accurate, current, and aligned with project requirements. The Specification Manager will also monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements to advise on product positioning and support business growth.

Qualifications

• Strong background in specification sales or project-based selling within building materials, surfaces, or related construction products.
• Experience working with architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers in the GCC, ideally with an existing professional network in Dubai.
• Technical understanding of engineered stone, surfacing materials, or similar products, including performance characteristics, installation requirements, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and managing technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear value propositions.
• Strong project management abilities, including pipeline tracking, prioritization, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable using CRM and productivity tools to manage accounts, projects, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainable design, green building standards, and health-focused materials is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English; additional languages common in the region (such as Arabic) are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct frequent client visits, and travel within the region as needed.
