Electrical Engineer – MEP Infrastructure Networks
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Experience: 5–7 Years (Minimum 3 Years Infrastructure Networks + 2 Years Technical Office)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team for MEP Infrastructure Works. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Electrical Infrastructure Networks, excellent technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate, manage, and deliver infrastructure packages from engineering and procurement through execution, testing, and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Execution (Electrical Utilities)
• Supervise and execute underground electrical infrastructure works including duct banks, conduits, chambers, handholes, cable routes, and associated civil works.
• Manage installation activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project standards, and approved submittals.
• Coordinate excavation, backfilling, compaction, utility protection, and restoration activities.
Utility Coordination
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, ICT, and other disciplines to ensure proper utility interfaces.
• Review utility corridors and resolve clashes between infrastructure services.
• Support coordination meetings and multidisciplinary project activities.
Technical & Documentation
• Review and oversee Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and coordination layouts.
• Prepare and manage Material Submittals, including Long-Lead Items.
• Develop and oversee Method Statements, ITPs, RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, and all required project documentation.
• Ensure alignment with contractual requirements, project scope, and client specifications.
Site & Project Management
• Coordinate daily with Civil, Mechanical, Planning, Procurement, and Technical Office teams.
• Plan and request materials, equipment, and manpower based on project progress.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution.
• Support testing, inspections, commissioning activities, and final handover documentation.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a Government University.
• 5–7 years of experience in MEP Infrastructure Projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Infrastructure Networks.
• Minimum 2 years of Technical Office experience.
Strong knowledge of:
• Electrical Infrastructure Duct Networks.
• Duct Banks, Conduits, Chambers, Handholes, and Utility Corridors.
• Electrical and ICT Infrastructure Coordination.
• Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, MIRs, WIRs, and Technical Documentation.
• Testing, Inspection, Commissioning, and Handover Requirements.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel (BIM knowledge is preferred).
