We are seeking a qualified FF&E Engineer / Interior Designer. The successful candidate will oversee the selection, procurement, budget management, and installation coordination of all Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) to ensure compliance with international 4-star and 5-star hospitality brand standards.
Manage the FF&E lifecycle from design coordination and material submittals to mock-up room approvals and final installation.
Coordinate extensively with Interior Designers, Architects, MEP Consultants, and Hotel Operators.
Handle vendor sourcing, tendering, cost negotiation, factory inspections, and logistics/customs clearance coordination.
Prepare and control FF&E budgets, tracking cash flow and executing value engineering without compromising brand guidelines.
Supervise site installation sequencing, snagging, and handover processes.
Prepare weekly procurement status reports, cost reports, and executive presentations for owners and operators.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related engineering field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in hotel FF&E projects (4-star and 5-star hospitality developments).
- Brand Knowledge: Previous experience working with international hotel brands and executing brand design guidelines is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in guestroom/public area furniture, decorative lighting, joinery, hospitality fabrics, ergonomics, and fire/life-safety standards.
- Project & Supply Chain Management: Solid track record in vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, risk mitigation, and site installation supervision.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Advanced MS Excel, and MS Project/Primavera P6. Familiarity with Revit and procurement tracking software is a strong plus.
