Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and support the expansion of our Power Generation business. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the entire project lifecycle, including pre-sales support, technical evaluations, system design, installation supervision, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales technical support.
This position requires a hands-on engineer with solid experience in diesel generators, power systems, and electrical installations, who can effectively support both our sales and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical Pre-Sales support.
- Analyse customer requirements and recommend suitable generator solutions.
- Review tender documents and ensure technical compliance.
- Assist in generator sizing, load calculations, and system design.
- Supervise generator installations and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Support commissioning, testing, and start-up activities.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues.
- Support warranty claims, service activities, and after-sales technical inquiries.
- Prepare technical reports, installation procedures, and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry standards, products, and technological developments.
- Support the company’s future generator assembly and packaging operations, including electrical integration, testing, quality control, documentation, and production process development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel generators and power generation systems.
- Strong understanding of generator control panels, synchronization systems, load sharing systems, ATS panels, and power distribution systems.
- Experience with generator installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform load calculations and generator sizing.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of international electrical standards and best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
