Our client is hiring a Junior Full Stack Engineer with a back-end heavy focus in Node.js. This role is suitable for an early-career candidate who has basic hands-on development experience and is eager to build backend strength while contributing to full stack delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js
- Build and support REST APIs and business logic
- Assist with database interactions and data handling
- Support front-end integration where required
- Collaborate with backend, QA, product, and frontend teams
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities
- Support feature delivery and issue resolution across the application lifecycle
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 0–2 years of experience in software development
- Basic to hands-on experience with Node.js
- Understanding of backend development concepts and REST APIs
- Familiarity with database fundamentals
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a team environment
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Dockerization exposure
- CI/CD awareness
- Infrastructure awareness
- Cybersecurity awareness or secure coding basics
- Internship, freelance, or academic project experience in Node.js or backend development
