Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Field Engineer role based in between Cairo & North Coast. The Project Field Engineer will oversee daily site activities, ensuring construction work aligns with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, monitoring progress, identifying and resolving field issues, and providing hands-on technical support to the site team. The role involves conducting site inspections, reviewing drawings and method statements, tracking materials and resources, and supporting project managers in planning, reporting, and documentation. The Project Field Engineer will also communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, manage risks, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong technical capabilities in troubleshooting and field service to diagnose, resolve, and prevent on-site issues efficiently.
• Experience in technical support, including interpreting drawings and specifications and guiding site teams on construction methods and standards.
• Solid project management skills to assist with planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and coordinating resources and subcontractors.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and site personnel and to prepare clear reports and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and regulations, with a commitment to safe work practices.
• Proficiency with basic construction and engineering software (e.g., MS Office, PDF markup tools; experience with project management or CAD software is an advantage).
• Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Previous experience in field engineering, site supervision, or similar construction roles is preferred.
