AIC2 is looking for an experienced Senior Network Resident Engineer, assist in ensuring the reliable and secure operation of the network infrastructure for a prestigious customer in Saudi Arabia, supporting their high-profile projects at the Amluj and Amala sites. This position involves on-site presence to deliver expert technical support, proactive maintenance, and innovative solutions, aligning with the exceptional standards and expectations of the customer.

Location:

Amaala and Umluj sites, Saudi Arabia

At least 3 years experience working as Senior Network Resident Engineer or other relevant position

Daily operational health checks for the wired, wireless Firewall, and NAC solution infrastructure.

Monitor alarms & report to customer via email/mobile.

Firmware update & patch management and ensure that the environment is bug/vulnerable free by keeping system with up-to-date software.

Deploy and manage enterprise-grade network equipment such as switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.

Creation of change request plan and submit to customer operation manager or supervisor for review and approval.

Maintain, track and update physical and logical diagram changes.

Work and liaise with appointed partners/vendor for necessary site survey and discussions.

Preparing weekly ticket tracking list for outstanding & resolved tickets.

Prepare and provide monthly equipment status (system events, severity alerts, violations, overall status, etc..) report to customer.

Work with appointed vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure internal audit compliance.

Work closely with various team of engineers (internal & external) for troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot production issues and security problems to fix any infra related issues and work with principal vendors and customer to provide the resolution within the proposed timelines.

Perform L3 escalation to appointed partner and/or principal vendor.

Performing RMA for hardware failures and replacement in production environment

Perform health checks for the critical environments and ensure the systems running up to the standard and no potential failures.

Able to follow and meet customer SLA for all the incidents and requests.

Take ownership of incidents and service delivery in customer’s environment.

Maintain up-to-date records of network configurations, modifications, and troubleshooting processes.

Covered solutions

Proven expertise in Aruba, Cisco and Huawei network solutions.

Wireless networks: Managing Aruba controllers, Aruba ClearPass, Huawei WLC

Firewalls: Managing Cisco and Fortinet Firewalls.

Routing and switching: Experienced in Managing Aruba and Huawei switches and routers.

Qualifications

Diploma/ Bachelor in Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant field.

Possess a solution certificate to cover the existing solutions.

At least 5 years of relevant working experience in relevant field and role.

Hands-on experience in network, hardware, software and security troubleshooting.

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
