Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Law or a relevant field is a plus.
- Professional certifications in Governance & Compliance (CCEP, GRC Professional Certification, CISA) are beneficial
- English fluency (written and spoken).
- Min 9 years of experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the design, implementation of corporate governance framework to align efforts with the organization’s strategic objectives, foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness, and promoting governance principles.
- Ensure alignment of the authority matrix with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and best practices in corporate governance.
- Provide guidance and support to the Board of Managers and its committees on matters relating to governance, legal compliance, and fiduciary duties.
- Developing, implementing, communicating and maintaining governance through policies.
- Review all SPPC’s internal documents such as procedures, manuals, charters and processes from a governance standpoint to ensure alignment with the DoA, and the other constitutional documents and promote responsibility, accountability, and transparency.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Ability to use Microsoft office applications.
- Communication skills.
