Job Description:
They seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sales Engineer – Consulting Firm to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in &/or Industrial, Petrochemical, and Chemical Engineering, excellent analytical skills, and fluency in French. This role involves a combination of business development and project coordination, focusing on generating new projects, following up with potential clients, and managing various types of industrial consultancy projects.
Responsibilities:
Client Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Engage with potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and follow-ups.
- Schedule and conduct meetings to show our services and understand client needs.
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of research, feasibility studies, business plans, and market research projects.
- Coordinate project timelines and ensure they meet client expectations and goals.
- Collaborate with the operational team to ensure smooth project execution.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct detailed market and industry research to inform project strategies and recommendations.
- Analyze data related to industrial processes and performance metrics.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing findings, insights, and strategic recommendations.
Proposal Preparation & Deal Closure:
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals to potential clients.
- Follow up with clients to address any questions or concerns and provide additional information as needed.
- Work towards finalizing deals and securing long-term partnerships.
Client Interaction & Travel:
- This Responsibility is not mandatory, but added on.
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and client visits to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Gather client requirements, provide project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial, Petroleum, Chemical, or related field.
- A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Fluency in French is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- 4-6 years of experience is required, in business development, industrial consultancy, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey complex concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, statistical software).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
