Description:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Minimum very good command of the English language (written and spoken).
Between 4 to 8 years of practical experience in loss adjusting and insurance claims handling.
Professional license to practice loss adjusting.
Demonstrated ability to independently investigate, assess, and adjust insurance claims.
Strong understanding of insurance policy wordings, terms, conditions, warranties, exclusions, and deductibles.
Technical Experience Required
Applicants must possess proven experience in handling and adjusting the following classes of claims:
Fire Claims
Property All Risks Claims
Engineering Claims
Marine Cargo Claims
Professional Certifications
Preference will be given to candidates holding professional licenses or qualifications in at least two of the following disciplines:
Fire Insurance Claims
Marine Cargo Surveying & Claims
Engineering Insurance Claims
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections, surveys, and investigations.
Determine the cause, nature, and extent of loss or damage.
Review insurance policies, supporting documents, and contractual liabilities.
Assess quantum of loss and prepare reserve recommendations.
Prepare Immediate Loss Advice (ILA), Preliminary Reports, and Final Adjustment Reports.
Liaise with insurers, brokers, insureds, contractors, experts, and other stakeholders.
Provide professional recommendations based on technical findings, policy coverage, and market practice.
Handle claims independently from notification through final settlement recommendation.
