Job Description
Translate written documents, technical manuals, and business correspondence from Chinese to English and vice versa with high accuracy.
Interpret conversations and meetings between Chinese and English-speaking stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support cross-functional projects requiring bilingual expertise.
Review and proofread translated materials to maintain consistency, tone, and technical accuracy.
Assist in the localization of company materials, presentations, and product documentation for Chinese-speaking markets.
Support the preparation and translation of reports, proposals, and contracts for international clients and partners.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Stay updated on industry terminology and best practices in translation and interpretation.
Provide cultural insights to enhance communication and foster positive relationships with Chinese-speaking partners.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to continuously improve language and translation skills.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a Chinese Translator or in a similar bilingual role.
- Production line experience is a big plus
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate translations.
- Ability to work full-time, under an onsite (office-based) arrangement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-cultural collaboration.
- Familiarity with technical, administrative, and marketing terminology.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using translation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- 10th of Ramadan residence or nearby.
