Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Oracle Developer with a focus on PL/SQL to join our development team. You will collaborate with DBAs, analysts, and fellow developers to design, implement, and optimize Oracle database solutions that support business goals. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL queries to support application features and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable database solutions.
• Assist with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning of Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and code issues in a timely manner.
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specs and inline code comments.
• Support data migration and integration efforts, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and participate in code reviews to promote best practices.

Required Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL tuning, and basic data modeling. Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle 12c/19c, SQL Developer or similar tools, and version control systems. Exposure to performance tuning, explain plans, and SQL optimization. Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and basic shell scripting. Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD proficiency is a plus.
