Role Overview
The Company is seeking a Director – Data, AI & Digital Solutions to establish and lead a Global Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Pune, India. The role will drive the strategy, design, development, delivery, and growth of Data & AI solutions across GCC, and International markets.
This leadership position combines practice development, delivery governance, solution consulting, innovation, customer engagement, and business growth responsibilities. The successful candidate will build a world-class Data & AI organization and work closely with regional sales, technology partners, and customer stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities – Leadership & CoE Development
• Build and scale a high-performing Data & AI Center of Excellence.
• Hire, mentor, and lead Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Architects, Data Scientists, and Consultants.
• Hire and build the Sales team responsible for selling Data & AI Solutions
• Define organizational structures, competency frameworks, and capability roadmaps.
• Establish governance models, delivery methodologies, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and delivery excellence.
Practice Leadership & Growth
• Define and execute the Data & AI practice strategy.
• Develop service offerings, accelerators, frameworks, and reusable intellectual property.
• Drive utilization, profitability, capability development, and business growth.
• Build strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and technology vendors.
• Contribute to annual business planning and revenue growth initiatives.
Delivery Leadership
• Own end-to-end delivery of Data & AI programs across multiple customer engagements.
• Establish delivery governance, quality assurance, risk management, and escalation frameworks.
• Drive Agile, DevOps, MLOps, and AI lifecycle management practices.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
• Define delivery KPIs, utilization targets, and performance metrics.
Solution Design & Technical Leadership
• Lead architecture and delivery of enterprise data platforms, lakehouses, ETL ecosystems, and AI solutions.
• Provide architectural oversight for AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, Analytics, and Data Engineering programs.
• Ensure scalable, secure, resilient, and high-quality implementations.
• Establish standards for data governance, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Executive Client Engagement
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and business leaders.
• Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, and transformation discussions.
• Translate business challenges into Data & AI roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Present solution strategies and business cases to executive stakeholders.
• Drive customer satisfaction and long-term strategic partnerships.
Business Development & Pre-Sales
• Lead solutioning for strategic Data & AI opportunities across GCC and international markets.
• Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and define winning strategies.
• Support commercial modelling, effort estimation, staffing plans, and solution costing.
• Contribute to pipeline growth, deal conversion, and revenue targets.
AI & Innovation
• Drive development of AI-led solutions including Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Automation.
• Lead enterprise adoption of Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and Agentic AI.
• Develop reusable frameworks and accelerators for rapid customer adoption.
• Promote Responsible AI, AI Governance, and enterprise AI best practices.

Experience Requirements
• 12–15+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, AI, and Digital Transformation.
• Minimum 5 years leading Data & AI practices, CoEs, or large delivery organizations.
• Proven experience managing teams of 30–100+ professionals.
• Strong experience in enterprise-scale Data & AI programs.
• Experience with global delivery models and distributed teams.
• Exposure to GCC, Middle East, Europe, or International markets preferred.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Success Measures (First 12 Months)
• Establish and scale the Global Data & AI CoE.
• Build a high-performing team of architects, engineers, and AI specialists.
