Director of Operations (Automotive Logistics & Supply Chain)

Park Lane Motors is one of the UAE’s fastest-growing independent automotive dealerships, operating a high-volume environment with over 220 vehicles in inventory and monthly sales exceeding 120 vehicles. As our business continues to scale, operational excellence has become a key strategic priority. 

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize our end-to-end vehicle operations, ensuring every vehicle moves efficiently from acquisition through to customer delivery. This role is critical in supporting inventory velocity, customer satisfaction, operational control, and sustainable growth. 

The Opportunity 

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the complete operational lifecycle of vehicle inventory and customer delivery. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary operations team spanning logistics, vehicle movement, documentation, inspection, detailing, showroom presentation, and customer handover functions. 

The role requires a highly organized and process-driven leader capable of implementing scalable systems, improving operational efficiency, reducing vehicle preparation timelines, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and accountability across all operational activities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of vehicle inventory, from acquisition through retail delivery. 

• Lead operational activities including vehicle transportation, documentation processing, inspection coordination, detailing, reconditioning, showroom preparation, and customer handover.

• Develop and implement operational processes, workflows, and performance standards to improve efficiency and reduce vehicle preparation and retail readiness timelines. 

• Manage and develop a diverse operations team, including drivers, documentation personnel, inspectors, detailing staff, and operational supervisors. 

• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, schedules, and performance accountability across all operational functions. 

• Ensure efficient management of documentation processes, including ownership transfers, vehicle registration, export documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements. 

• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow and operational alignment. 

• Implement and maintain quality assurance standards for vehicle presentation, showroom readiness, and customer delivery processes. 

• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, scalability, and process optimization. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 

• Minimum 7 years of progressive operations or logistics leadership experience within a high-volume UAE automotive environment. 

• Proven experience managing multi-functional operational teams and large-scale vehicle logistics activities. 

• Strong understanding of UAE automotive operational processes, vehicle movement, documentation requirements, and inventory management practices. 

• Demonstrated experience in process design, workflow optimization, and operational performance management. 

• Advanced proficiency in operational reporting, process management systems, and business performance analysis.
