Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Country Team Lead, Lebanon provides overall strategic leadership, operational oversight, and external representation for Project HOPE’s mission in Lebanon. As the senior in-country representative, the role ensures the effective delivery of humanitarian, recovery, resilience, and health systems strengthening programs in alignment with organizational priorities, donor requirements, humanitarian principles, and Lebanese legal and regulatory frameworks.
The Country Team Lead serves as Project HOPE’s primary representative with government authorities, relevant ministries, UN agencies, donors, coordination platforms, and strategic partners, ensuring strong external engagement, partnership development, and effective positioning within Lebanon’s humanitarian and development landscape.
The role is accountable for overall mission performance, program quality, operational compliance, people leadership, risk leadership, donor relations, and resource mobilization across all country functions, working closely with the Regional Office, and technical teams to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.
