Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a TAB Project Engineer. The TAB Project Engineer is primarily responsible for managing Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) teams on project sites, ensuring all TAB activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and contractor schedules. The role includes planning and coordinating field activities, monitoring progress, resolving site issues, and ensuring project milestones are achieved within the required deadlines.

The TAB Project Engineer will oversee daily site operations, supervise TAB technicians and engineers, coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients, and ensure accurate execution of testing and balancing procedures. The position requires proactive problem-solving, effective communication, and continuous follow-up to address technical and operational challenges that may impact project delivery.

The TAB Project Engineer will be responsible for monitoring project performance, preparing progress updates, identifying risks and delays, and reporting project status, technical issues, and resource requirements to the Operations Manager. The role also includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, project specifications, and company procedures while maintaining strong relationships with all project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Project Management, Project Engineering, and Project Planning
• Strong background in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on HVAC systems and building systems
• Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Ability to manage technical documentation and reporting with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience in Testing and Balancing (TAB) procedures and performance verification is a plus
• Knowledge of HVAC Commissioning standards and energy efficiency practices is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
