Senior Qatar & GCC Focussed Business Development Manager – Remote (Egypt Based) Full Time

We are looking for a highly experienced Business Development Manager with previous GCC market experience to help grow our presence across Qatar.

The role would require you to develop new opportunities and independently build new relationships, identifying new corporate and government accounts without relying on inbound leads.

Working closely with our seniorBusiness Development team, you will focus on generating new business opportunities across our core training and consultancy services, while also supporting the growth of Coursera Enterprise within Qatar.

The role requires a proactive and commercially minded individual who already understands how business development operates within the GCC market and is comfortable with direct outreach, client meetings, proposal support and developing long-term strategic relationships across the region.

This is a senior position and strong experience in this area is required.

The position will start remote with Qatar travel, but will come with the opportunity to permanently re-locate to Qatar at a later stage if desired.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Business Development Manager within the GCC market is essential (Remote work is fine)

• Strong understanding of the Qatar market, Corporate and Government environment

• Proven ability to generate business through cold outreach and relationship development

• Experience within the professional training, executive education or consultancy sector is strongly preferred

• Previous experience working for a GCC-based training company would be a huge advantage

• Must be bilingual in Arabic and English (fluent)
