Key Responsibilities:
Tender Review & Analysis with Tendering Manager
Study tender documents including specifications, drawings, BOQs, and contract conditions.
Identify technical discrepancies and raise clarifications with clients or consultants.
Conduct site visits when necessary to assess project conditions.
Direct Cost Estimation & Proposal Development
Lead quantity take-offs, quantity validation and cost estimation for electrical systems (LV/MV/HV).
Float RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors; analyze received quotations.
Coordinate with procurement to obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop technical and commercial proposals in line with tender requirements.
Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination, comparison ensuring compliance to project requirements.
Evaluate supplier offers for technical and financial compliance.
Negotiate terms and ensure alignment with project specifications and timelines.
Support junior tendering engineers and review their work for accuracy.
Documentation & Handover
Prepare comprehensive tender documentation including compliance statements, datasheets, and pricing schedules.
Ensure smooth handover to execution teams upon project award.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
years of experience in electrical tendering, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, control, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (is a plus), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent command of English and Arabic.
