Distribution Driver – 1793 Full Time

Provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Makes pick-ups as necessary. Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers a variety of our products to different addresses to meet customers’ requests.
• Loads, unloads, prepares, inspects and operates delivery vehicle to ensure it’s prepared for driving.
• Collects cash from customers and receives signature with necessary verification of ID from credit card accounts to provide them to the management and avoid any accountability for mistakes.
• Informs customers on new products and services to ensure their satisfaction.
• Documents and keep record of information on pick-ups and deliveries, automobile mileage, fuel costs and any problems encountered to provide it to the management and avoid any accountability for mistakes.
• Asks for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assists in performance of year-end physical inventories for warehouse to ensure proper inventory process.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving license and an excellent driving record.
• minimum of a High School diploma, or equivalent, is highly desirable.
• Good English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
• 3-5 years of experience as a Distributor Driver within Amman area.
• Experience in driving a small commercial cargo van (5 Tons).
• Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and courteously with customers and staff.
• Must possess an accurate and informed understanding to our target zones.
