Makeup artist Trainer Full Time

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Makeup Artist Trainer role based in Baghdad. The Makeup Artist Trainer will design and deliver practical and theoretical training sessions on makeup application techniques, product knowledge, and hygiene standards to retail and beauty staff. Responsibilities include creating training materials, demonstrating makeup looks for various occasions, and coaching team members to achieve consistent, high-quality service. The role involves conducting skills assessments, providing constructive feedback, and organizing refresher workshops to keep staff updated on trends and brand guidelines. The Makeup Artist Trainer will also collaborate with sales and store management teams to support customer experience, visual standards, and brand representation on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Strong cosmetology background with expertise in makeup application and related beauty practices.
• Proficiency in Hair Styling to complement makeup looks and support complete makeover services.
• Demonstrated Training skills, including designing curricula, leading group sessions, and coaching individuals.
• Customer Service and Sales skills to support client consultations, product recommendations, and upselling when needed.
• Previous experience as a makeup artist, beauty consultant, or trainer in retail or salon environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly, give practical demonstrations, and adapt training to different skill levels.
• Organizational skills to plan training schedules, maintain records, and report progress to management.
• High standards of professionalism, hygiene, and a commitment to inclusive, respectful customer interactions.
