System Administration & Monitoring
Oversee day-to-day operations, including system administration, monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. Resolve escalated issues promptly and ensure high availability.
Second-Level Support
Provide second-level support for both internal and external users, addressing and resolving complex issues related to infrastructure, applications, and performance.
Solution Design & Documentation
Develop low-level designs and detailed solution documentation for internal and external projects, ensuring that solutions are scalable and maintainable.
Application Deployments & Updates
Manage new application deployments and release updates across various application server platforms to improve functionality and address customer needs.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Monitor application performance and resource utilization to ensure optimal efficiency. Make necessary adjustments to improve performance and minimize system downtime.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security teams, to achieve business goals and deliver high-quality solutions.
Proof-of-Concept Testing
Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) testing of new services and solutions to support internal and external stakeholders, helping drive innovation and new capabilities.
Knowledge Sharing & Documentation
Maintain and expand the team’s knowledge base through comprehensive technical documentation and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement.
Adaptability & Project Work
Adapt to shifting priorities and contribute to various projects, ensuring the infrastructure can handle evolving business needs and technology changes.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar field.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
Familiarity with application server platforms, such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache Web Server, and Microsoft IIS, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
