BI Developer

Job Description:

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for the organization’s BI solutions, including developing reports and dashboards, working with data sources, building data models, and supporting business processes across operations, finance, supply chain, and sales.

The position is primarily focused on the Qlik Sense environment, alongside a gradual transition to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, in accordance with the company’s global technological needs. In addition, the role involves working with additional enterprise systems, collaborating with global teams, and partnering with vendors and business stakeholders in Israel and abroad.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models in Qlik Sense.
• Write complex SQL queries and work with organizational databases.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
• Design and build data models while ensuring performance optimization and data quality.
• Develop BI solutions according to business needs and global standards.
• Work with Qlik Sense alongside the implementation of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional users across the organization to understand business needs, define requirements, and develop BI and data solutions.
• Support and implement BI capabilities to enable self-service analytics for business users across the organization.
• Work closely with global IS teams, vendors, and integration partners.
• Manage user permissions, data security, and implementation of BI governance and work procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science/ Industrial Engineering & Management or a related field – mandatory.
• 3–6 years of experience in BI development and working within data and analytics environments – mandatory.
• Significant hands-on experience with Qlik Sense – mandatory.
• Advanced SQL experience, including writing complex queries and performance optimization – mandatory.
• Experience working with data models, ETL processes, and enterprise databases – mandatory.
• High level of English, both written and spoken – mandatory.
• Experience working with ERP systems in operational and manufacturing environments – significant advantage.
• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric – advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM/ PLM/ ITSM systems – advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing/ industrial environment – significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Python or additional scripting languages – advantage.
• Microsoft certifications in Data and BI technologies – advantage.
• Ability to work independently and lead tasks end-to-end.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with multiple interfaces.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a global environment.
