Van Driver Full Time

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Van Driver role based in Beirut. The Van Driver will operate company vehicles to transport passengers, packages, or materials safely and on schedule within assigned routes. Daily tasks include inspecting the van before and after trips, following traffic laws, and reporting any maintenance issues or incidents. The role involves loading and unloading items, assisting passengers as needed, and ensuring the vehicle remains clean and presentable. The driver will also maintain basic trip records, follow route plans or navigation systems, communicate with dispatch or supervisors, and uphold company safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid, up-to-date driver’s license appropriate for van operation in Beirut, with a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Proven experience driving vans or similar vehicles in urban environments, with strong knowledge of local roads and traffic rules.
• Commitment to safety, including defensive driving practices, adherence to traffic regulations, and careful loading/unloading of passengers or cargo.
• Customer service mindset with courteous communication skills and the ability to assist passengers or clients professionally.
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow schedules, assigned routes, and company procedures consistently.
• Basic record-keeping skills to track trips, mileage, fuel usage, and report vehicle issues accurately.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods and to lift, move, or carry light to moderate loads as required.
• Ability to work on-site in Beirut with flexibility for shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in transportation, delivery, or logistics is preferred but not required
