Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant and Finance role based in Dubai. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, handling accounts payable and receivable, and supporting monthly and annual closings. The accountant will prepare financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with relevant standards and local regulations. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting cost tracking related to production, inventory, and sales. The role also requires collaborating with management on financial analysis for decision-making, coordinating with external auditors or consultants as needed, and contributing to process improvements and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance with proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in retail, luxury, or trading environments.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Financial Statements and support comprehensive Financial Reporting.
• Proficiency with Accounting Software and related tools (e.g., ERP systems, spreadsheets) for accurate data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that support business decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and applicable regulations in the UAE or GCC region.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling financial information.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage deadlines, multiple tasks, and periodic closing activities.
