Medical Representative – Iraq Full Time NEW

JOB PURPOSE:

The Medical Representative serves as the primary link between HOLDAL and healthcare professionals including doctors, pharmacists, and medical institutions. He/she promotes product knowledge, provides scientific information, introduces new products, and supports customers with after-sales service. The role requires achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and strengthening relationships within the medical community.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promotion and Communication:

• Conduct regular monthly visits to targeted medical specialists to deliver accurate product and disease-related information.
• Support in organizing and attending local and international scientific events, such as round tables and conferences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to encourage prescriptions and increase brand presence.
• Assist in reviewing, segmenting, and prioritizing accounts to improve visit efficiency and maximize return on investment.
• Recruit and onboard new healthcare customers to drive prescription growth and expand market reach.
• Gather information on product efficacy and safety and report any adverse events promptly.
• Track and report competitor activities to support strategic planning and competitive positioning.
• Collect insights on physicians’ prescribing habits to inform marketing and sales strategies.

Reporting:

• Submit detailed updates on all visits and activities to the direct manager to ensure full adherence to the planned visit cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific field.
• 0–4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Solid understanding of diseases, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, Kurdish is a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey scientific information clearly.
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
