🔹 Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and supervise the General Ledger team, providing guidance and performance management.
– Oversee all general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
– Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
– Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
– Coordinate with other accounting functions (AP, AR, and Treasury) to ensure proper recording of transactions.
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
– Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
– Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.
🔹 Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certificate is a plus.
– 7+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; Odoo ERP user is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, IFRS, and closing processes.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills.
– High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
