We are seeking an experienced General Manager of Sales for our Truck division in Congo, Africa. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in sales management within the automotive or truck sector, with a proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth in international markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of the market dynamics in Congo, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives in the truck sales sector.
Manage and lead a sales team to drive revenue growth and market share in the Congo region.
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the truck industry.
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for the sales department.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all sales activities.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10-25 years of experience in sales management, specifically in the truck or automotive industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in international markets, particularly in Africa.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
In-depth knowledge of the truck market, including customer segments, competitors, and industry trends in Congo and surrounding regions.
Fluency in English and French; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
