We are partnering with a leading integrated marketing agency in Dubai who are looking for a Social Media Strategist to lead the development of innovative, insight-led social strategies across a portfolio of well-known client accounts.

This is a key strategic role sitting between account management and creative, responsible for shaping the “why” behind social content and ensuring every output is rooted in audience insight, cultural relevance, and platform best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of end-to-end social media strategies across multiple client accounts
• Translate client objectives into clear content direction, platform strategies, and campaign ideas
• Define content pillars, tone of voice, and storytelling frameworks for brands across social channels
• Collaborate closely with creative, content, and account teams to ensure strategic alignment and executional excellence
• Use social listening, platform insights, and trend analysis to identify opportunities for engagement and growth
• Guide the ideation process, ensuring concepts are insight-driven, culturally relevant, and platform-native
• Oversee the performance of social content and refine strategies based on data and learnings
• Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging social trends
• Present strategic thinking and recommendations confidently to internal teams and clients

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in social media strategy, ideally within an agency environment
• Proven ability to build and execute social strategies across multiple brands or accounts
• Deep understanding of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels
• Strong grasp of content strategy, audience segmentation, and digital storytelling
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-client agency environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
• Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data and insights into creative direction
