The Venture Capital Lead is responsible for leading key venture capital activities, including deal sourcing, investment evaluation, portfolio monitoring, and supporting execution of investment strategies. The role acts as a key driver between junior investment teams and senior leadership, ensuring high-quality investment analysis and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sourcing and evaluation of venture capital investment opportunities.
Oversee financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence processes.
Support structuring and execution of investment transactions.
Manage and guide junior team members in investment analysis activities.
Develop investment memos, reports, and presentations for leadership review.
Monitor portfolio company performance and identify value creation opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with founders, startups, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Track market trends and identify emerging investment opportunities.
Support strategic partnerships and ecosystem engagement initiatives.
Ensure quality and consistency of investment documentation and analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
6-10+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or investment advisory.
Strong experience in investment analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
Solid understanding of startup ecosystems and venture capital processes.
Experience in managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial tools.
