ZUHAIR MURAD is seeking a highly motivated Admin & Procurement Assistant to support the seamless operation of the fashion house by managing essential procurement tasks and administrative duties. This role ensures that materials, supplies, and services are acquired efficiently while also maintaining a well-organized and professional work.
Responsibilities:
The duties will be but not limited to:
Administrative:
• Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering office /kitchen supplies.
• Providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
• Carrying the needed arrangements and reservations upon request.
• Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
• Greeting and assisting visitors.
• Anticipating the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience
Procurement:
• Purchase goods, materials, components in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets to support multiple departments.
• Negotiating on pricing, payment terms, lead time, delivery due date and/or other options available.
• Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing quotes, then issue POs upon approval of senior management.
• Act as an interface between suppliers and internal departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
• Provide analysis of costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities.
• Contacting suppliers to resolve pricing, quality, delivery, or invoice-related issues.
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proactive, positive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of previous experience in administration
