In this pivotal role, the Senior Teaching Assistant will supervise and organize the daily work across the Dental Clinics and labs, ensuring smooth clinical operations and communications between the Clinic Manager, Faculty members, students and staff for an effective student learning experience. The role also includes providing clinical guidance to undergraduate students, maintaining compliance with clinical protocols, and supporting faculty in delivering hands-on education. Key Responsibilities :
Organize daily activities in the dental clinics, ensuring efficient patient flow, readiness of clinical areas, and adherence to safety protocols.
Work closely with faculty members, clinic management, and administration to support scheduling, assessments, reporting, and continuous improvement of clinical education.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education and Experience :
Required Education:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent degree in Dentistry.
Years of Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of clinical dental experience and 2 years in teaching.
Specific Skills or Expertise:
Additional Certifications:
Valid professional dental license (preferred)
Training in infection control and clinical safety (preferred).
