Senior Cyber Security Specialist Full Time NEW

Job Summary

Lead and support cyber security operations, security governance, and threat management activities to protect the organization’s ICT infrastructure, systems, applications, and data against cyber threats and security breaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage cyber security operations, incidents, and threat detection activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.
• Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM systems, antivirus, and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with cyber security standards, regulatory requirements, and client security policies.
• Support cloud security, network security, and infrastructure hardening initiatives.
• Perform security risk assessments and recommend mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with ICT teams to ensure secure implementation of systems and applications.
• Prepare cyber security reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct security awareness sessions and user training programs.
• Support disaster recovery, backup security, and business continuity initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditors, vendors, and security consultants when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in cyber security operations and security management.
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint security, SIEM, IAM, and cloud security.
• Experience with security tools such as Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft Security, Palo Alto, or similar technologies.
• Professional certifications preferred such as:
• CISSP
• CEH
• CISM
• CompTIA Security+
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident response skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
