About the Role

We are looking for a Competitiveness Enablement Expert to join our Competitiveness and Economic Policies Sector. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in economic impact assessment and competitiveness enablement, develop annual plans, and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct economic analyses using advanced statistical methods, econometric models, and data analysis techniques to support decision-making.
• Assess the economic impact of proposed government programs and initiatives, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze the effect of policies and legislation on business costs, market efficiency, and investment attractiveness.
• Identify gaps and opportunities in the business environment through economic studies and root cause analysis.
• Perform benchmarking research to extract international best practices and adapt them to the local business environment.
• Engage with private and government sectors through surveys, workshops, and consultative meetings.
• Prepare high-quality analytical reports and presentations for executive leadership.
• Develop and apply methodologies to measure the impact of policies, fees, and initiatives before and after implementation.
• Represent the team in official meetings and forums.
• Track implementation of competitiveness enablers and prepare progress reports.

Technical Competencies Required

• Economic impact assessment of government initiatives, policies, and programs (Expert level)
• Economic modeling and econometric methods (Expert level)
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis using advanced tools (Expert level)
• Benchmarking and best practices analysis (Expert level)
• Executive report and presentation preparation (Advanced level)

Qualifications

Education (Essential):

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent

Education (Preferred):

• CMC (Certified Management Consultant) or PMP certification
