Role Description

The Site Operations Manager – Waste Management will oversee daily operations at the waste management site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time, on-site role involves managing waste disposal and recycling processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards. The role will also include supervising teams, coordinating with clients and regulatory bodies, scheduling, and reporting on operations to ensure service excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in waste management processes, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling and recycling
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Proficiency in implementing health, safety, and environmental compliance measures
• Technical knowledge of industrial waste disposal equipment and their operation
• Ability to coordinate operations, establish efficient schedules, and monitor key performance indicators
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions
• Experience with regulatory compliance in the waste management industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in waste management or a related sector is a must
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in project management and reporting skills
