Shopicom is the company behind Nasmati and Trop Cosmetics, two fast-growing e-commerce beauty brands serving customers across Lebanon, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, the GCC region, and internationally. Through Shopify-based online stores, paid advertising, COD operations, payment gateways, and delivery partners, we manage a growing multi-market e-commerce business focused on beauty, hair styling, and cosmetics.

Role Description



This is a part-time remote role for a Senior Accountant. Shopicom is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and trustworthy accountant to manage the financial operations of Nasmati Care and Trop Cosmetics.

The Senior Accountant will track daily, weekly, and monthly accounting records, Shopify sales, online payments, COD collections, bank transfers, Wish Money, Stripe/payment gateways, refunds, cancellations, returns, expenses, and paid/unpaid orders. They will reconcile Shopify reports with payment gateways, delivery companies, bank accounts, and internal reports.

The role also includes preparing monthly profit and loss reports for each brand and market, tracking ad spend across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google, calculating product costs, gross margin, net profit, delivery costs, fulfillment costs, operational expenses, supplier invoices, customs fees, inventory value, stock movement, best-selling products, and profitability per product.

We are looking for someone who understands the full e-commerce flow: from customer order, payment, delivery, product cost, ad spend, and final profit — not just someone who enters numbers.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, finance officer, or senior accountant

Experience with e-commerce, Shopify, online stores, or retail businesses is highly preferred

Strong understanding of Shopify orders, fulfilled/cancelled/refunded orders, paid/unpaid orders, discounts, taxes, shipping fees, and payment statuses

Ability to export and analyze Shopify reports by country, product, date, payment method, and order status

Experience with payment gateways, COD reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and delivery company settlements

Ability to track revenue, COGS, gross profit, net profit, ROAS, ad spend, AOV, refund rate, cancellation rate, inventory value, cash flow, and product margins

Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills are required

Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is a plus

Understanding of multi-currency transactions is a plus

Ability to prepare clear financial reports for management

Trustworthy, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines

Comfortable working remotely and reporting online

CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification is a plus
