Key responsibilities include developing test plans and test cases, analyzing system requirements, monitoring product performance, and identifying potential risks before deployment. The role also involves maintaining testing documentation, tracking bugs and issue resolutions, and contributing to process improvements that enhance product stability and user experience. The candidate may also assist in automating test workflows and improving testing efficiency across development cycles.
The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to think critically when evaluating systems and identifying edge cases. Familiarity with software development lifecycles, quality assurance methodologies, debugging processes, and testing frameworks is highly desirable. Exposure to automation tools, scripting, or performance testing concepts is considered an advantage.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the role requires working closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear reporting and alignment on quality objectives.
