Graphic Designer (part time) Full Time NEW

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and digitally fluent Graphic Designer to support the visual development of OpenKaram as we prepare for launch. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible part-time work while contributing to a real startup with visible impact.

You will work closely with the marketing, product, and leadership teams to create high-quality visuals across social media, mobile app interfaces, website assets, and launch campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, understands modern design trends, works efficiently, and enjoys building brands in fast-paced environments.

This is a hands-on role where your work will directly shape how users and merchants experience and perceive OpenKaram.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Brand Content:

• Create visual assets for social media (posts, stories, reels covers, ads, banners)
• Design marketing materials (flyers, one-pagers, presentations, merchant-facing content)
• Develop launch campaign creatives and promotional materials
• Support seasonal campaigns, offers, and growth initiatives

UI/UX Design Support:

• Assist with mobile app design needs (banners, category visuals, onboarding screens, buttons, icons, pop-ups)
• Help improve interface consistency across screens
• Support wireframes and visual layouts for new features
• Contribute ideas to improve user experience and customer journeys
• Prepare organized design assets for developers

Website Design Support:

• Design website banners, landing page visuals, icons, and promotional sections
• Support updates to website pages and launch material
• Improve visual consistency across desktop and mobile layouts
• Help optimize pages for stronger conversion and cleaner presentation

Video Editing & Motion Content:

• Use tools such as Premier, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar to create: (Reels, TikTok edits, Promo videos, App teaser content, Merchant highlight videos, Animated stories, …)
• Add text overlays, transitions, motion effects, music timing, and clean edits

Brand Consistency:

• Apply OpenKaram brand guidelines across all outputs
• Maintain correct colors, fonts, spacing, and visual tone
• Ensure all content reflects a clean, premium, modern Lebanese vibe
• Keep consistency across app, website, and social channels

AI & Productivity Tools:

• Use AI tools for mockups, image enhancement, idea generation, cleanup, and workflow speed
• Explore new tools that improve quality and efficiency
• Balance speed with professional design standards  

Required Qualifications

Skills & Tools:

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, InDesign, CapCut, Premier, FreePik, Adobe Express or similar)
• Good understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, and color theory
• Basic UI/UX understanding
• Interest in website design and digital experiences
• Familiarity with AI creative tools is a plus
