Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Resident Engineer based in Dubai. The Senior Resident Engineer will oversee engineering projects, ensure compliance with local standards and regulations, manage project timelines, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities also include supervising construction activities, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring projects meet quality standards. The role demands strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to deliver successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in project planning and management, including team leadership and resource coordination
- Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, with expertise in design and construction management
- Proficiency in architectural review, quality control, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder coordination
- Advanced knowledge of engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD and BIM
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with significant on-site project exposure
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field (Master’s Degree is a plus)
- Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., PMP, RIBA, or related) are highly advantageous
