About the role
The Treasury Operations Specialist is responsible for managing Letters of Guarantee (LGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and overall trade finance activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of bank instruments. This role acts as a key interface between banking partners and internal project and procurement teams to support day-to-day project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage LGs (bid bonds, performance bonds, APGs, retention)
- Handle LG amendments, extensions, and cancellations
- Process LC applications, amendments, and settlements
- Maintain LG & LC registers and monitor expiry dates
- Coordinate with banks, procurement, legal, and project teams
- Track fees, commitments, and facility utilization
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and bank requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade finance / treasury operations
- Strong knowledge of LGs, LCs, UCP 600, URDG 758
- Hands-on experience in the Saudi banking environment
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred
- Fluent in Arabic & English
