Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Accountant to take full ownership of the accounting department at Jana Dates. You will be responsible for the entire financial cycle, from day-to-day data entry to high-level financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, specifically focusing on manufacturing costs, inventory management, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Cycle Accounting: Manage all daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate data entry into the accounting system.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L (Profit & Loss), Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels (raw materials, packaging, and finished goods) and perform regular reconciliations to ensure zero leakage.
• Manufacturing Costing: Oversee the “Work in Progress” (WIP) and final production costs. Analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS) to maintain profitability.
• * Purchasing & Payables: Manage relationships with suppliers, oversee the purchasing process, and ensure timely payments and documentation.
• * Compliance: Ensure all tax filings and local financial regulations are met accurately.
• Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a Senior role.
• Industry Background: Proven experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) or Manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Financial modeling, Pivot tables).
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, Zoho, or QuickBooks).
• Deep understanding of manufacturing accounting and inventory valuation.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, high integrity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-growing brand environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CMA or equivalent is a plus.
